Windows Live Moviemaker for Vista or Windows 7. This version does not have a feature for narration!
Windows Movie Maker 6.0 (works on Vista & 7) This is not a Microsoft site, but rather a modified version of Moviemaker that works on Windows 7.

Frames This software can be used for video but also allows students to create animation and even "green screen" effects. There is a fee for the software, but students can download a 30-day free trial version.

Voicethread According to their web site "Voicethread is a powerful new way to talk about and share your images, documents, and videos." It is an amazing tool!

Mixbook This tool creates an online Photo Album, but its advantage is that it allows multiple students to collaborate easily (even from home).

Creative Commons is a non-profit organization where you can get images, video & more that you can use and even manipulate without violating copyright protections.
